You are about to be hanged. You manage to escape from the jail. You land in a jeep to escape to an unknown destiny. You come to know that the driver is a hangman, who is driving the jeep to a nearby police station. You come to know that the hangman knows you are a fugitive. What will you do?
You are in a battlefield. You have two options: throw the bow and arrow and surrender and they will kill you OR pick up the bow and arrow and destroy your cousins and relatives. Krishna intervenes and advises Arjuna and Arjuna makes his decision.
Our fugitive also listens to Krishna during the rollercoaster jeep ride with the hangman and makes his decision too.
It is like running away from something to get rid of it, but coming back to where started. Call it karma or fate, it all means the same.
